NASHVILLE, Tenn. – HOK Sport announced today that Tom Williams has joined the firm’s facility operations, evaluation and analysis group in Nashville, Tenn.
Williams has worked in private facility and event management for 14 years in a variety of convention, sport and entertainment venues, including the Palm Springs Convention Center and the Sommet Center in Nashville. He most recently served as SMG’s general manager of CenturyTel Center in Bossier City, La.
HOK Sport’s Nashville office, managed by Principal Russ Simons, focuses on facility operations, evaluation and analysis. Simons’ group reviews everything from building systems and components to planned capital improvements; facility wear; life cycle cost analysis; risk management; security and maintenance, guest experience and operating procedures.

Williams’ new responsibilities with HOK Sport’s Nashville office will include such duties as budgeting; furniture, fixtures and equipment procurement; risk assessment/management; and customer service, as well as the application of his significant expertise in facility operations.
