The Air Canada Centre is home to the Raptors and Maple Leafs and serves a dual function as a theatre. HOK Sport provided initial design concepts for a new arena to replace Maple Leaf Gardens. The new design captured the spirit of the existing facility, with a tightly-configured bowl designed to bring fans as close to the action as possible.
Amenities included improved sightlines, the addition of private suites, a pedestrian plaza, retail facilities and improved parking and transportation links. HOK Sport ultimately provided design consulting services to BBB Architects.
