Coleman Coliseum was constructed in 1968 and is the home of the Crimson Tide's basketball, gymnastics and volleyball programs. The building also houses administrative offices and athletic support facilities.
HOK Sport, in association with Davis Architects, provided the University with an assessment of the building in terms of athletic facilities, concourse and fan amenities, code and ADA compliance and general appearance. This resulted in the development of a building plan that fully updated the venue. The exterior of the coliseum received a total face-lift as well as the interior.
