The entire exterior of the facility is clad in brick and cast stone while a wrought-iron and brick pilaster fence enclosed the park and bisect the interior and exterior entrance plazas, greatly improving security. For the fans, concession points were increased seven fold and restroom space was quadrupled while group patios were added on the press level for special events.

The improvements to Doug Kingsmore Stadium will delight fans, press and student-athletes. Decorative "Tiger Stripe" pavement and a Wall of Fame highlight the new entrance plaza. Ornamental fencing around the plaza and a new brick facade on the stadium echo the architectural themes of Death Valley.
