HOK Sport designed the Colorado Springs World Arena and Ice Hall to interact as one building. The arena's primary users are Colorado College's nationally ranked NCAA Division I Hockey Team. With a maximum capacity of 8,500 the arena is capable of handling numerous world-class events. Designed with flexibility in mind, the arena can host ice events, basketball, circus performances, family entertainment, pre-Olympic qualifications and concerts.
The connecting Ice Hall includes one NHL-sized ice sheet and one international-sized ice sheet to accommodate the world famous Broadmoor Skating Club, USA Figure Skating, local youth hockey programs, tournaments and public skating.
