The Estadio Algarve is one of the most prestigious facilities constructed before kick off in June 2004. The stadium design encompasses all the features required for a championship venue. Translucent roofing fabric provides bright conditions for players and spectators alike. Although the primary use was the Euro 2004 Championships, the facility has been designed so that it has a multi-use function including concerts and banqueting facilities. This in turn means that the municipality has a sustainable stadium for life - flexible and easily adaptable for use by the local teams and community.
