The new home of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Russ Chandler Stadium exemplifies a high level of design evident in the site planning, functional planning, and exterior and interior look of the facility, all governed by a challenging budget.
The exterior façade was inspired by Georgia Tech's classical gothic architecture combined with the flavor of traditional baseball, represented by steel and masonry. Red brick complemented the shade of masonry evident throughout campus.
The ballpark is an excellent example of fulfilling the University's programmatic desires, seamlessly merged with unique site conditions and classical gothic campus architecture.
