The Iowa Events Center was designed as part of the revitalization of downtown Des Moines. Located along the Des Moines River, the Center affords views of both the city skyline and the Iowa State Capitol. The design incorporates the half-century-old Veterans Memorial Auditorium with two new state-of-the-art facilities: Wells Fargo Arena and Hy-Vee Exhibition Hall.
Wells Fargo Arena's design enables it to host a variety of indoor sports, concerts and live entertainment. The three-concourse facility totals 430,000 square feet and provides a wide array of modern amenities.
