The Pan American Center, built in 1968, is the home of New Mexico State University men's and women's basketball programs, and the women's volleyball program. It seats 12,500 for sports events -- about half on arena seats and half on backless bleacher seating. The recent renovation replaced all the bleachers with arena seating, improved fan amenities, built an attached practice gymnasium and new locker rooms, built new arena and athletic offices, and constructed new event loading facilities.
