The Rochester Rhinos commissioned HOK Sport to design a cost effective, easily expandable professional soccer stadium to accommodate lacrosse and concerts.
Scheduled for completion in April 2006, Paetec Park's horseshoe seating bowl will accommodate 13,000 spectators. Future phases will offer the ability to increase capacity to 20,000 and will include the addition of 30 suites, a full press box and media facilities. The stadium features an intimate lower seating bowl with an upper deck on the west side allowing for dramatic views of downtown Rochester. A four pole European style lighting scheme has been used to reinforce the soccer tradition.
