Sited in the heart of downtown, Progressive Field (formerly Jacobs Field) draws its strengths, architecturally, from an interpretation of images that are unique to the city. The award-winning ballpark allows for direct views into the ballpark from two street level plazas and boasts the most modern major league amenities.
The playing field, with its asymmetrical outfield configurations, gives the Indians a distinct home-field advantage, and unobstructed viewing for spectators. Among other amenities, the ballpark features 118 premium suites and ten Diamond Suites, located at the dugout level behind home plate, only 58 feet from the batter.
