Located on the banks of the Raritan River in the heart of New Jersey, the Rutgers Stadium expansion will be a pivotal element in the growth and support of the historic Rutgers University athletic program. The renovated stadium’s capacity will be similar to other Big East opponents’ stadiums, and it will provide outstanding playing conditions and purposeful player and coach training environments. The renovated stadium will maintain and enhance a public and campus presence through enhanced graphics and a new entrance off River Road. The project also will incorporate upgrades to the sound system, scoreboard, video screen, elevators, concessions and restrooms.

- 1,000 new mezzanine level seats
- 1,000 new bench seats in north end zone
- 12,000 new seats in newly constructed south end zone
