Dedicated in 1969, the Roscoe Maples Pavilion has served the entire University as a multipurpose facility and hosted many championship seasons of Cardinal basketball and volleyball. The improvement study provided the University with an analysis of its physical condition and functionality and a master plan expanding and improving support areas, spectator seating and amenities.
The design included a new concourse with concessions, restrooms and other amenities encircling the existing building. This solution provided a unique exterior concourse that took advantage of the Northern California climate.
