Over 21,000 square feet of remodeled space at Gampel Pavilion offer new lower level seating and support spaces for the men’s and women's basketball programs. Temporary seats were removed from behind the baskets and replaced with a new concrete seating bowl.
A new weight/training room with hydrotherapy pools, training, and physician offices cater to the student-athlete. A large "Talent Corridor" depicting the tradition of UConn basketball links the player areas with the coaches' offices. Player meeting rooms and expanded sports information offices round out the improvements.
