HOK Sport designed a renovation plan for Boshamer Stadium outlining all areas requiring upgrades and additions. The new ballpark will incorporate several new additions that fit well with the best context of the existing park and surrounding campus. The result is a conceptual design that blends the best of the old with the best new ballpark ideas, greatly enhancing all aspects of the facility both functionally and aesthetically.
Additional revenue opportunities will be created throughout the renovated ballpark. Replacing the existing narrow concourse, toilets and concessions with a wide, open concourse with generous toilets and concessions will enhance the fans gameday experience. The small, outdated press box will be replaced with a new state-of-the-art press area flanked with several new skyboxes on one side and the coach’s offices on the other.
