The Virginia Tech Lane Stadium Expansions were designed over 2 phases, aimed at enhancing spectator comfort, while preserving the gothic architectural-style of the stadium. The design of the south endzone provides linkage between the existing east and west sideline structures creating more of an intimate presence while making a visual gesture toward campus. Now designed as a continuous circulation, the main concourse has become more efficient in pedestrian and building operations. The entry plazas at each corner provide ideal gathering places while offering views to the playing field and the campus beyond.
