As a Principal of the London studio, Bill's holistic approach to architecture means he encourages each team member's involvement and individual strengths to contribute to the 'total design' of the project. Driven by a passion to provide an aesthetically pleasing solution that fulfils the client's aspirations, Bill enjoys formulating and developing the brief with the client to ensure they are sympathetic with and understand the final product.
In 2002, HOK Sport was commissioned to the redevelopment of the All England Lawn Tennis Club. Bill became Project Manager for the Office and Museum Buildings and, following their completion in 2004, became Project Manager on the Redevelopment of Wimbledon Centre Court – one of the world's most recognizable and evocative of sports arenas.
Being involved in prestigious projects, accompanying them with unique design, and witnessing the rapid evolution of sports buildings creates in Bill a professional architect who is committed to producing the highest quality of sports related architecture. Bill's desire to encourage and develop awareness, knowledge and quality of design amongst fellow architects is reflected in his organization of the Continual Professional Development team at HOK Sport and his role as Quality Manager within the studio.
