Andrew is Principal in charge of the newly opened China office of HOK Sport Venue Event, based in Hong Kong. This office represents a commitment by the firm to deliver world class design expertise into the strong emerging sports business and convention centre industry in China. The office allows rapid response to opportunities within this region, and enables the establishment of a network of valuable relationships in the industry to best service client needs and opportunities in Asia.

Andrew specializes in project management and the design of major sports facilities and other major venues. He has a particular interest in the economic models of large scale master planning and civic projects, and the evolution of new procurement and design strategies in successfully implementing these into the wider community.

Andrew has designed and managed HOK Sport's competition teams for a number of stadium and venue proposals in China and Asia, during the past eight years. He also managed the Design Competition for Nanjing Sports Park which won an IOC/IAKS Gold award for sports architecture in Germany in 2007.
