As a Principal in the London office of HOK Sport, Barry's experience in investment funding, planning, design and construction has proved invaluable in analysing a wide range of options as part of the process. This experience has included working closely with major land owning syndicates, land assembly masterplanning, analysing public and private partnerships and regeneration to ensure secure funding and a sound planning framework.
Since joining HOK Sport in 1997, Barry has been instrumental in bringing the Faro and Benfica stadia to successful completion as part of Portugal's Euro 2004 infrastructure. Barry is a Director of the World Stadium Team joint venture responsible for the design and delivery of Wembley Stadium in London. He has been involved since inception of the scheme to construct a revolutionary new Arena inside the Millennium Dome in London's Docklands.
Further afield, Barry's expertise has enabled the Dubai Formula 1 Autodrome project to proceed successfully to construction stage within a tight programme culminating in the first races scheduled for April 2004.
