Pat Tangen joined HOK Sport as a project architect in 1990 and has devoted his entire career to sports architecture. Most recently, Pat was the senior project architect for Nationals Park in Washington, DC. Pat has become a specialist in major league ballpark renovations as well, having served as project manager of the renovation of Angel Stadium in Anaheim and now the renovation of Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City.
As project manager and Principal, Pat has played a key role on many minor league and major league baseball stadium facilities, and brings an intimate understanding of the key project delivery issues related to ballparks.
